Flower Girl - MMC

Good afternoon everyone, sorry my post is somewhat late, I wasn't feeling that great yesterday and blogger is really messing me around with loading issues every time I log in.  So scheduling two blog posts yesterday was a nightmare.  Anyway feeling better today.  I hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather!

So today Making Memories Crafting is having it's 6th Challenge. Of course we would love you to join in the fun!

I originally created two projects for this challenge, but the first one I decided I didn't like!  So this is the one I decided to go with.  I joined a group for Junk Journals and this is the cover of the journal.



I have used Cardboard for the cover ( Cardboard from dog biscuits box)  The cover was covered with some Hessian which I freyed around the edges.  I punched the flowers from two different size flower punches onto card.  The centres all have small pearls.  I crotched two lager flowers. I then added a doily, the little envelope is made from white paper and filled with plastic just because.  The little flower is from a Christmas Angel.  The butterflies are die cuts and the image is from Bugaboo - Flower Girl.  The image has been coloured using Promarkers, around the image I have used little pin pricks around the edge just for decoration.
