Good afternoon, I'm back again, this time with a few digital makes and a poem!  I don't often write poetry to share, but with the attacks on Manchester and London recently I thought I'd share, It's not perfect but it says what I want it to say!

I also created a digital page for Digital Whisper, I love playing along with these challenges, the themes are always so good and they do get you working outside your comfort zone..

Good afternoon everyone, sorry my post is somewhat late, I wasn't feeling that great yesterday and blogger is really messing me around with loading issues every time I log in.  So scheduling two blog posts yesterday was a nightmare.  Anyway feeling better today.  I hope you are all enjoying the lovely weather!

I originally created two projects for this challenge, but the first one I decided I didn't like!  So this is the one I decided to go with.  I joined a group for Junk Journals and this is the cover of the journal.

I have used Cardboard for the cover ( Cardboard from dog biscuits box)  The cover was covered with some Hessian which I freyed around the edges.  I punched the flowers from two different size flower punches onto card.  The centres all have small pearls.  I crotched two lager flowers. I then added a doily, the little envelope is made from white paper and filled with plastic just because.  The little flower is from a Christmas Angel.  The butterflies are die cuts and the image is from Bugaboo - Flower Girl.  The image has been coloured using Promarkers, around the image I have used little pin pricks around the edge just for decoration.

Bathing Beauty

Good afternoon everyone, I hope you have had a good week, here in the UK we are getting ready for another Bank Holiday.  It's going to be hot hot hot, or so the weather forecasters say.  They are also predicting thunder storms but we shall see.  So do you have any plans yet!  I shall be having a BBQ and just some nice relaxing time with family and friends, may do some crafting as well of course...

So over at The Three Muses this week the challenge theme is Vintage Bathing Beauties, what a fabulous theme, as I really love Vintage, so had great fun creating this!

I used an image from my vintage stash and blurred it in PicMonkey, the sea gulls are from my stash, then the whole creation was created in GIMP.

Love is like a butterfly!

Good evening everyone, well it's been a manic few days, with not enough time in the day to complete the things I had planned...

So today I thought I would catch up on some much needed craft time.  So I decided to create a digital page.  This is what I did!

Altered CD / Flower Ballerina

Hi!  Hope your all having a good Friday, nearly the weekend, do you have any plans.. I'm not sure what we are doing tomorrow but Sunday my bestie is coming to visit, so that will be good.  Not how much crafting will be done!

Last night I came across a file on my computer with a whole lot of digi images, I don't really do a lot of crafting with digi images, I have trouble colouring them, but I found some amazing images by Aurora Wings, so the colouring took a while to do and I actually used one pencil and some chalk. I also decided to purchase some die cut Butterflies and Leaves in white, I don't have to many because it's not very often I create using these items, but this is what I did..

Vintage card!

Hi!  How has your weekend gone, all good I hope.  I have been busy cleaning windows as you do on a Sunday morning lol.  I've also altered a candle which I'll add tomorrow and created a digital card. I've really enjoyed crafting today, It does take a considerable amount of time to create digitally and i'm pleased with how this card turned out.

I have used Photoshop to create this card and used different digital elements .

A couple of days ago I came across a new place where you can enter your digital stuff.  This week the challenge is Dressing Room, I found this theme really difficult so it's taken lots of time mixing and matching different layers, different kits until I was satisfied.  So out of my comfort zone but I really like this.

Now for some good news, when we started our challenge blog, Making Memories Crafting we were in two minds whether to have just a digital only challenge blog.  But to get us started we decided that any crafts/projects could be entered.  Over the last few weeks I have put the ball in motion so to speak and with my lovely co owner Heather we have decided to create a new 100% digital challenge blog, there aren't to many of us around so we thought it a good idea.  Our new challenge blog is called

Hi crafty friends and visitors, it's been a reasonable amount of time since I have created anything digital, had lots of things going on, deadlines to keep to, so social media and this blog has sort of taken a back seat, everything is now ship shape and I'm raring to go again.

I found all the kits and images I need to make this layout late last night, so this morning have been working on this layout, I'm pretty pleased with how this has worked out....

Before I share my layout with you, the challenge over at Making Memories Crafting is still going, so plenty of time to enter all your gorgeous projects!
